There's always a lighthouse
And just like that, you wake up in the basement of a lighthouse in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. There's a circle of 25 pods in the middle of the room, and two more in a room off to the side, and you can imagine who is in which.
An elevator to the side of the room leads up to the ground floor (or to the first sub-basement, if you want to check out the machine that brought you here), where you can for the first time in weeks look out a window and see the sky. Its a beautiful sunny day, with a strong breeze on the grassy ground of the island where the lighthouse stands. Have you ever been this happy to hear seagulls?
You're free. Whatever comes next, you're free and you won. Take some time to relish your victory, won't you? Reunite with friends you thought you had lost, go forth and just... well, enjoy this.

[Yes, she knows one of them can understand her. It's spite at this point.
Anna rubs her temples and drags herself up from the pod. She looks around the room and dusts herself off.]
Of course they saved us. I'm never wrong.
[She still hesitates to actually go up to any of the survivors, though... for probably obvious reasons.]

...Well, he's not quite out of the woods just yet, but he will need to seek someone out to see what can be done about Hel. She can't be allowed to live, after all.
Lif's probably just going to be up on the ground floor, staring out at the sunny day and the seagulls like it's the first time he's seen anything like this in years. And for him? It absolutely is. He looks the most at ease he's ever been, and...]
...We're free. After all this time, we're free, into a land that's so...beautiful, and full of life...
[...He needs a moment, but this is the most at ease he's been in literal years, let him have this while he just stares, okay.]

Of course, she won't stay out there forever. Later on, she'll be seeking out those who lived and greet them with:]
You did well today. Thank you for all your hard work.
[And she's also going to look for those who died with something different:]
How are you doing? What are your plans after this?
[Oh yeah, and she doesn't have her usual warpaint on, but you know what, that's something she can deal with later. For now the most important thing is checking on the people she's been trapped with for the past two months, and figuring out where exactly they're going from here.]

[ Local chatterbox is back in action, it seems. ]
I feel like I could eat my hand, but you did it! I'm so proud of you!

Mostly, she's a little bit annoyed that her shotgun machete is probably not here. She misses her damn gun.
Seeing the ocean when she steps outside is - the ocean was never the problem. The problem was always the sharks. There's something like wistfulness in the way she looks out at the sea.]
How bad of an idea do you think it would be to go for a swim?
[She gets the sense that there's stuff to be done or a conversation to be had about what to do after this, but for ten minutes Nova would like to forget that there's something to do back home and just swim.]

Waking up feels a little weird, and he takes his time in doing it; he would prefer to not just force himself up and immediately eat shit, thank you very much. But once he's up...well, he's never really been content with hanging out in groups, has he.
As such, he can be found on the ground floor, finding whatever access to the outside there is (because there must be access, surely someone maintains the place) and going out there.
This sort of place is entirely unfamiliar to him and it's evident in his expression, in the way he isn't quite sure what to do with his face; he settles on "not much", his expression going kind of weird and blank while he leans back against the outside wall of the lighthouse and tries to sort himself out. He is, as he's said to several people before, more than slightly broken somehow, so he may take a moment to work everything out in his head. At least the view is nice.
Is being here a good thing? Yes, definitely. Just a matter of "what now", he supposes.]

Well, Carmen's looking it over, she's holding a phone up to it and talking to Player through that.
If anyone approaches, however, Carmen will turn and both of them will kinda wave. ]
Hey, uh... do you want to talk to me or to "White Hat slash Ghostworth" here? I can just kinda... hand the phone over.
[ Just make sure to specify which one you want to talk to, and we can handwave either the phone being handed over or Carmen setting it up somewhere so Player can look at some circuit boards or something! ]

She doesn't really say much - she figures if anyone's going to want to talk to her they will - for now content to just watch people get up and get out.
And later on she also gets out of there, just kind of... sitting on the grass and looking out at the sea, jacket pulled tight about her shoulders. ]

Cassandra keeps to herself, when she isn't around Angel; giving people a wide-berth, enough for them to get their bearings. Watching, keeping watch. She doesn't start any conversations but if you catch her against a wall, or standing outside looking out at the ocean, she'll talk to you. Maybe with a tinge of reluctance.
It's a fine day, at least, to remember who she is again.]

She eventually just heads outside and... finds a large rock to just sit on. She's staring up the sky, though.
Eventually, though, Rhea's nowhere to be found... or rather, not the 'Rhea' everyone is used to by now. Just a large creature curled around the top of the lighthouse. Just taking the sun in.]

[Just give him a moment, and then he's all smiles.]
Oh it's amazing to see all of you again. Great job with taking down the prof.
[There's a lot to be said, and people that have to get reacquainted. And while Sly takes the time for that, he kind of disappears for a bit once they're all outside. Wonder where he could- oh. Okay then.
He's climbing the lighthouse.]

Come on, let's go find the rest of the team.
[Her first priority is hunting down the rest of her Pokemon who were here, but after that she'll hang around a bit to say hi to the people she knows. But soon she'll be heading up and outside, where she can soak in the feeling of the earth and stones beneath her feet. After a while, people coming outside might see her practicing sword forms with her walking stick, or summoning pillars and walls of rock.]

...Still, it really is nice to be able to look up and see the Earth's sky, for the first time in quite a while.
After a bit, though, she'll come back inside — or, more specifically, she'll take the elevator down to the first sub-basement. She paces in circles around the machine, the ambivalence of her feelings clear to see in her posture. ]
So this is it, huh...

Have you seen her?!
[ Hi guys, she missed you too!!
.. ANYWAY, no matter what happens with Rose, she seems a whole lot less agitated after it's over and done with. She gravitates to the outdoors, and you might catch her just... walking into the ocean. She suddenly goes from walking on the beach to immersing herself completely, and just as quickly as it happened, she's gone.
Well, she's gone for ten minutes, at which point she rises from the waves, her long pale hair plastered to her form and her 700 hideous equally-sized teeth bared in a triumphant grin. She shakes herself off while still up to her ankles, which still might put you in the splash zone, honestly.
Afterwards, she seems relatively content to sit on the beach and gaze distantly out at the horizon, her only company her thoughts and whoever might be nearby, which is a huge mistake on their part. The truth, which — even after all of this — Jasper still refuses to fully acknowledge, is that she does want to talk to the others, including the ones she hates. There are a few people she'll actively seek out, but with most of them, it's just a matter of a gruff voice breaking into their business once they get within range. She says pretty much the same thing every time. With her eyes still on the ocean, she asks: ]
Where are you going from here?

Alice Cullen hasn't actually slept in about a hundred years, and waking up in this dark room, her third time doing so in two months, feels alien and wrong. The time she's spent in the facility with the rest of the dead has been a blur. But now…
She steps out into the sunlight again, and unlike the spotlight that had shone on her as she’d been burnt to ash, the sun lights up her skin like a diamond, throwing beautiful flecks of light across the sand as she skips across it to join her friends. There are tears welling at her eyes at the sight of so many familiar faces, but there are three she’s looking for in particular: Zerinda, Mira and Della. Those three are getting swept up in a big, strong hug on sight, no ifs ands or buts about it. But really, any of the rest will get a similarly warm welcome. Alice isn’t worried any longer.
Things are going to be just fine. She can see it.]

When she emerges, she's wearing a different outfit: still a long white dress with pale pink accents, but one with poofy sleeves and simpler tiers. It definitely does not resemble a dress from any movie characters she related intensely to recently. Nope.
For a moment, as she stands, her hand hovers over her gem. The star-shaped cutout around it is still there; as much as she'd like to hide it from view right now, she knows full well what a lack of light does. It's still quartz-passing. Still in one piece. That...it is what it is.
Rose will be going outside to sit on the grass and watch the seabirds. She's not seeking anybody out. She only parted with the other dead a few moments ago, and she can't imagine that any of the living are terribly interested in seeing her.
(Except Jasper. But whatever that's going to look like, it would probably be best not to have it in a room full of people anyhow.)]
