Well, you've now met the brains of the operation, as well as the shockingly nice-looking young lady in charge of day-to-day business. Now all that's left is to get used to your accommodations - there's 24 other people in similar shoes to yours to meet in this building, you know! And who knows how much longer you might have them...

The daily routine in the facility quickly becomes obvious - the only way to tell time moment to moment is to check the strange device The Professor gave you, but at the same time every day the lights in and out of the facility go up, and at the same time every night they go down. Otherwise, it's almost maddening sometimes, how little happens in here. At least you have a few rooms with enough to hopefully keep you occupied. Who knows what secrets they might hold? And there's always that vending machine, if you can find something that fits in the coin slot...

Yeah. [A pause] In your world, is it so famous that there's almost always a crowd surrounding it at the museum it's in?

[ Della nods. ]

It's like that with everything here. [ She gestures around at the rest of the art pieces. ] All works of art.

[ladygeryon]

[Nira nods.] So I was wondering...did he use whatever method he kidnapped us with to steal all these artworks? Or does he have a very talented forger on staff? I'm no art historian, so I can't really tell if any of these are forged or not.

[nothingcanstop]

...I'm not sure. To actually know that, you have to sort of...get up close and personal with the art, but.

[ She knocks on the safety glass. ]

No dice there. I wouldn't want to make a guess either way.

[ladygeryon]

Yeah, it probably doesn't matter too much. When we get out we can probably just check the news to see if there's anything about a bunch of valuable art disappearing.

[nothingcanstop]

The news of this world, at least. If artwork has such a wide crossover range between them...who knows which one he could've stolen them from.

[ladygeryon]

...Swords, you're right. He could do something like snatch one from each world or something. Just a bunch of individual mysteries, like why someone chose to steal just that one in particular. [She gestures at the Pollock.]

[nothingcanstop]

Exactly. ...It's not really our biggest mystery, but it sure is annoying.

[ladygeryon]

Maybe we could ask next time he opens up a line here. He could be the type who loves bragging about his diabolical plans and how he achieved them.

[nothingcanstop]

Expecting a straight answer? From that guy?

[ladygeryon]

[A casual shrug.] Mostly thinking it wouldn't really hurt even if we were rebuffed about it. Not really anything asking about art can give away to him.

Alright... But if he starts his blabbering, I'm throwing something at the TV again.
