WEEK 1
Well, you've now met the brains of the operation, as well as the shockingly nice-looking young lady in charge of day-to-day business. Now all that's left is to get used to your accommodations - there's 24 other people in similar shoes to yours to meet in this building, you know! And who knows how much longer you might have them...
The daily routine in the facility quickly becomes obvious - the only way to tell time moment to moment is to check the strange device The Professor gave you, but at the same time every day the lights in and out of the facility go up, and at the same time every night they go down. Otherwise, it's almost maddening sometimes, how little happens in here. At least you have a few rooms with enough to hopefully keep you occupied. Who knows what secrets they might hold? And there's always that vending machine, if you can find something that fits in the coin slot...

MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
FRIDAY | SATURDAY
[ ooc: Welcome to Peace Week! Enjoy it while it lasts. Remember, office hours for The Professor's Assistant are over here if you're interested, while regains can be deposited over here! ]

Eventually, once her juice box is empty and has been shoved all the way to the bottom of a trash can, Alice heads to the lounge and sits cross-legged in front of the television, flipping it on and discovering immediately that the only channel available is smooth jazz and stock photos. She pulls a face, horrified.]
Is this supposed to be soothing? Gross!
[She's just going to...go back to her book, glancing up occasionally as people come in and out of the room, and if you happen to glance her way, she'll smile and wave!]

[Aren't they underwater? What are all these pictures? What is this strange music?]

Which does leave the lounge, which seems occupied by the weird screen music and another person. He can't exactly grin given his facial situation, but his brow quirks in amusement at the face Alice pulls and her statement.]
I'm surprised that anyone could find this 'soothing'. The Professor really must be a rare breed...
[Still...]
What exactly is 'gross' about this?

[She stops suddenly, whipping around as she belatedly realized that yes, there is someone else in the room and yes, she did likely hear her talking to herself. Amazing first impression, Zaza.]
Oh! Good morning! Terribly sorry to interrupt your breakfast, my mind is in about eight different places.

lounge
[Actually, nevermind. It's probably on the same circuit as their horrible ID things. Which means the Professor is nearby enough to broadcast, given the fact that signals don't do well underwater. That's almost comforting. Maybe they can all beat him up after this is over.
Nova flops onto one of the couches, because she's already discovered that the only room without a view of the ocean is the library and while she could just read about marine biology all day, that's gonna get boring fast. At least the lounge is comfy.]
You think if we ask the assistant girl we can at least get a movie? The kitchen will definitely make us popcorn.

[Shelley is cringing a little, but that's because the saxophone is all over the place, it's like it's sounding on both of her ears. Smooth jazz is...weird. Makes it hard to focus]

Thankfully, after a few cups of that, she seems raring to go! The library seems like the best way to pass the time productively, and she's brought a mug of the stuff in with her to sip on while she does some light reading on psychology, with a dash of criminology. She's skimming pretty quickly, but it's with intent..!
In the early afternoon, though, she's quick to flag down the first participant she sees on her way to the dining area with her best smile and an offer! ]
Hey! Come grab a bite with me? Scientifically speaking, you should never eat lunch alone! Trust me, there are all kinds of studies on this!
[ It might be hard for her to take "no" for an answer on this one... ]
Lunch
He pulls his scarf up higher and keeps walking. Maybe she'll get the hint.

Never the less, while he's...actually remembering that hey dumbass, your body needs food, there's Ema coming at him with that offer which. Gets a quirk of his brow, more than anything.]

[ Rin has the sound of someone who has just decided it's time for a break — though, given the fact that she doesn't have a single book on her, it might make one wonder what she could be taking a break from. It's just her and her handheld device, which she sets aside as she asks. ]

Predictably, she's supremely disappointed when she finds channel after channel of dead air. And, also predictably, that disappointment grows into frustration as it mounts. By the time she finds the one working channel, it's about ready to burst. Her heart leaps with the sudden light and sound that blooms across the screen, and then...
And then it's just mocks her with nature photos and jazz music. Like they want to see this when they're imprisoned underwater?! The rapid swing between hope and insult is enough to finally push her over the edge, and with an audible snarl of frustration, she surges to her feet and punches the television as hard as she can.
Anyway, after this, Rin relocates to the library. Apparently, though, it isn't to read; the books go ignored while she sits with her handheld device in front of her. There's a scowl on her face, half concentration and half frustration, and it begins to edge toward the latter the longer she... does whatever it is she's trying to do. After a point, she starts checking the device for seams, looking for a way she might be able to pop the back off of it. ]

Aela seems much more worked up today than she was yesterday. She's restless and constantly moving about, so you can find her in the fitness room staring at the machines like she wants to break them, or you can find her in the art gallery looking really unimpressed at all these pictures. Either she doesn't recognize any of them or she's totally fine with the idea that the Professor stole a ton of artwork, who knows.
Eventually she gives up and makes her way to the library. You can find her in here looking through the books on criminal activity, though she doesn't seem to be looking for anything specific, just something that catches her interest. She'll eventually turn to ask you:]
Are any of these books familiar to you?

You may find Shelley in the south tunnel, with some paper and pen while she writes on it. There's a lot of scribbling and all, and in the meantime she is singing. Her voice is squeaky and not very fit for good singing, but hey, she doesn't seem to mind:
Under the sea, under the sea, down where it's wetter, the lyrics I don't remember, the Professor said, let there be murder, under the sea~
She'd give an apology for butchering classic Disney songs, yeah.
Later, though, she's at the library, staring at the rows and rows of books. The ones she had tossed around the day before are now placed where they belong, it seems. There's Shelley, examining the book titles]
I know this is a murder dinner that may span months or something, but would it be so bad to have some romance books in here? The topics here are a little repetitive, and memorizing the names of seven million species of fishes isn't anyone's idea of a good time.
[It kind of sucks, she thinks]

Even the sauces are different, huh...?
[Even later, she can be found in the exercise room again, using one of the jogging machines. She's changed into the tie-dyed shirt, which is more of a tanktop, exposing her shoulders and revealing rocky brown protrusions running among and down said shoulders. Aria is sitting next to her, occasionally letting out a soft bark that gets her to pause and move to the side to sit and rest for a while.]

Rockfish or maybe snapper? Hard to tell, it wasn't close enough. Guess he wasn't lying about where we are, even if the Pacific's a big fucking place.
[Eventually, Nova moves to the dining area. Not to eat, exactly. Instead, she appears to be ordering increasingly specific and slightly bizarre dishes. You might encounter her ordering things like funeral potatoes, MREs, chili size, cotton candy, coffee crunch cake, and various increasingly elaborate sushi rolls. Feel free to eat any of the things she's been kind of piling up on one of the tables. She doesn't even like half of it.]

It's probably not like anybody would fault him for keeping to himself for the day, with nothing truly interesting happening... outside of an excursion from his room, to the strange vault-like door past the restrooms.
There's no real stealthy way of going about this, but he's trying. He runs his hands over the edges of it, and presses his ear against the door. He's perplexed, but disappointed at what he's finding of this door so far.
I.E. Nothing.]
