WEEK 1
Well, you've now met the brains of the operation, as well as the shockingly nice-looking young lady in charge of day-to-day business. Now all that's left is to get used to your accommodations - there's 24 other people in similar shoes to yours to meet in this building, you know! And who knows how much longer you might have them...
The daily routine in the facility quickly becomes obvious - the only way to tell time moment to moment is to check the strange device The Professor gave you, but at the same time every day the lights in and out of the facility go up, and at the same time every night they go down. Otherwise, it's almost maddening sometimes, how little happens in here. At least you have a few rooms with enough to hopefully keep you occupied. Who knows what secrets they might hold? And there's always that vending machine, if you can find something that fits in the coin slot...

MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
FRIDAY | SATURDAY
[ ooc: Welcome to Peace Week! Enjoy it while it lasts. Remember, office hours for The Professor's Assistant are over here if you're interested, while regains can be deposited over here! ]

Rockfish or maybe snapper? Hard to tell, it wasn't close enough. Guess he wasn't lying about where we are, even if the Pacific's a big fucking place.
[Eventually, Nova moves to the dining area. Not to eat, exactly. Instead, she appears to be ordering increasingly specific and slightly bizarre dishes. You might encounter her ordering things like funeral potatoes, MREs, chili size, cotton candy, coffee crunch cake, and various increasingly elaborate sushi rolls. Feel free to eat any of the things she's been kind of piling up on one of the tables. She doesn't even like half of it.]

What is all this? Did your hamburger explode?
no subject
[She does not elaborate, instead going back to the counter and ordering live octopus.]

[Well. That sure is octopus. It's just raw, though, not still moving.]
Huh. Well that's something.

You know where we are?
no subject
[The fact that she's only seeing fish that match pre-sharknado species found in the Pacific is weird to her, but given the fact that they're all from different places that's probably only weird to her.]

A nautical chart... Would something like that be in the library?

[Like a poor imitation of the exact cake she was thinking of, basically.]

[There's enough people that the pantry necessary to support all of them would be insane.]

[This is a potato, but she hasn't ever seen funeral potatoes before. It's strange, interesting, but not something you'd shove in your mouth right away]

[ Della's passing by and...can't help but hear her mumbling to herself. ]
Have you figured anything out?

The kinds of fish around are a good map...but unfortunately that wasn't the part of traveling the globe I was focused on, whenever I did, so we're both stuck.

dining hall
This does not keep her from walking into the dining hall and regarding the table full of food as if it's a particularly baffling insult to her, personally. She stomps on over, stares down like she can intimidate it into giving up its secrets, and then just kind of
sticks a finger in the cotton candy. ]
Huh. [ And okay, there's also a human in here, that's fine! ] What's the meaning of this?
no subject
[Granted, she technically didn't go to school for that or anything so her idea of science really verges on the edge of Mythbusters-style "remember kids, the only difference between science and screwing around is writing it down" rather than carefully controlled, double-blind anything.]

You're... not going to eat all of that, are you.

Are you going to eat any of it?

[That wasn't exactly the question but that's her answer.]

[Seteth gazes over the assorted dishes in befuddlement.]
The cake I can identify, but I must confess, I am unfamiliar with a... chili size.
