Well, you've now met the brains of the operation, as well as the shockingly nice-looking young lady in charge of day-to-day business. Now all that's left is to get used to your accommodations - there's 24 other people in similar shoes to yours to meet in this building, you know! And who knows how much longer you might have them...

The daily routine in the facility quickly becomes obvious - the only way to tell time moment to moment is to check the strange device The Professor gave you, but at the same time every day the lights in and out of the facility go up, and at the same time every night they go down. Otherwise, it's almost maddening sometimes, how little happens in here. At least you have a few rooms with enough to hopefully keep you occupied. Who knows what secrets they might hold? And there's always that vending machine, if you can find something that fits in the coin slot...

Not that we've gotten anywhere. He's clearly hidden things around the laboratory, though.

It's slow-going, that's for sure...but that doesn't mean we aren't all going to try our hardest.

Have you found anything? Secrets?

This morning, I found that that vault door leads to an elevator, but of course we still don't know where it goes off to.

An elevator? How'd you find out that?

You can barely see it at the far edge of the closer tunnel. Unfortunately, what you can't see is any end to how far it goes. Down or up.

Huh... Clever. We don't know much, but we know something. Wonder if behind that vault's...no, the Professor wouldn't be at this location, he'd be operating remotely.

Oh, probably. But he might have machinery in there, or more hidden staff.

It's definitely something valuable...and it only makes me wanna get behind that door even more.

You suppose it might be the thing that took us here, then?

[nothingcanstop]

...Maybe. An elevator, something that could get us up off the bottom of the stupid ocean, that's something to look into. It depends on how high it goes.

I couldn't see any end to it, at least. But you'd think a submarine would make more sense.

Well, yeah... Ideally, there's a submarine somewhere here to hijack, but- any lead's a good lead. Also, you'd be surprised what men with a lot of money would build. Elevators to the bottom of the ocean have...an appeal, of some sort.
