Well, you've now met the brains of the operation, as well as the shockingly nice-looking young lady in charge of day-to-day business. Now all that's left is to get used to your accommodations - there's 24 other people in similar shoes to yours to meet in this building, you know! And who knows how much longer you might have them...

The daily routine in the facility quickly becomes obvious - the only way to tell time moment to moment is to check the strange device The Professor gave you, but at the same time every day the lights in and out of the facility go up, and at the same time every night they go down. Otherwise, it's almost maddening sometimes, how little happens in here. At least you have a few rooms with enough to hopefully keep you occupied. Who knows what secrets they might hold? And there's always that vending machine, if you can find something that fits in the coin slot...

There's Alfyn, Tressa, Cyrus, Olberic, Ophilia, Primrose, and H'aanit. Four men, four women. ...All human, if you're wondering.

I'm starting to get the feeling that's just how it works for the rest of you, yes.

How'd you meet?

...I met Alfyn first. He's from a small village in the Riverlands. I was passing through and got caught up in his business, and... heh. Well, I guess that's basically the story for the rest of them, too, though it was usually more Alfyn getting caught up in their business.

What about you? You adventure on your own?

When I was younger, it was me, my brother, and my uncle, tearing up the world. Now... Well, I still explore with Uncle Scrooge and Donald. But... My kids join in too. [ She's... There's a dopey mom-smile. ] My three boys, and Age- the housekeeper's granddaughter. Everything's gotten a lot bigger.

[From Therion's soft, fondly scornful laugh, Alfyn could perhaps be interpreted--and certainly is, in this trash goblin's mind--as too friendly a guy.

But anyway, that's enough about Alfyn. He's about to get wrecked at Monopoly, here.]

That's not even counting Uncle Scrooge's employee, Launchpad--he's like a big brother to the kids, even if he is a little...avant-garde in terms of piloting--and whenever we visit my cousins...

[ A serene smile, as she is just fucking destroying him. ]
