SECOND TRIAL
[ Once enough time has passed to gather the appropriate information, Davy Jones once again moves to collect any stragglers who don't make it back to the theatre. ]
Step lively, same procedure as the last time!
[ Before long he plays that same complicated song on the organ and, crowded into the elevator, you all descend once more into the depths of the ship. But you might notice as you head down... there's more room in the elevator than there was before, with three of you gone now. Not much, but still. It's noticeable.
The sound of another shanty echoes from the Dutchman below as the elevator reaches its destination, that same foreboding glass room at the very base of the vessel. The sea is dark about you.
The circle of podiums is largely unchanged, though Shard and Adeline's have joined Carmen's in looking nigh hundreds of years older than all the others, rusting and covered in bivalves and seaweed. ]
Ye all seem to have caught on quick to what to do. I be here if any inquiries burn too fiercely.
[ The Captain is late again, it seems, but things are set to start anyway.
Welcome to your second trial. ]

I think we should consider the idea that she might've jumped off the side of the ship herself. After all, she did it before, and...she might've taken a shine to the kraken.
...Was there any seawater around to indicate, uh, this?

[She gave Adeline one last token of friendship before going off to find tissues for her roommate, there was a lot on Flayn's mind.]

[Is it really a helpful creature, the Kraken is not a Pokemon..... Allenby is still trying to tame her hair at this point. Oversleeping is not her strong suit.]

[Or at least that's how she took Constantine's explanation, oops.]

[Allenby somebody talking to animals isn't just confined to movies.]
So she was going to try and talk it into helping her last night or something...? You think it worked?
[Everyone seems to be thinking it worked somehow.]

[He was more suggesting that she'd tried to game the Kraken system a little.]

[Fair but also Allenby is still trying to picture how this gaming would work. All she's seen is Constantine getting yeeted like a basketball.]

[All these people leaping into its arms for beach volleyball(??) have to be some kind of entertainment at this point.]
It doesn't sound like much of an escape, but maybe?
