Week 2

Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

It's now been a week since you were all captured. Perhaps you've already settled in. Perhaps you're already confident that you'll make it out of New Rapture alive. How serious about this could Mayor Fontaine possibly be, really?

While there still may not be much to do in your little hotel bubble, you've at least been granted a little more now - some kind of mysterious room and a sizeable library of all things. And in all the places you've looked so far, you've found valuable information, and even learned some of the story of New Rapture along the way.

Make sure to keep talking to the others! You want to keep those regain coins flowing, don't you?

Glad you're doing...okay? Then? Sorry, I'm just now realizing I never really talked about this much with my classmates back when 'shima did something similar. It's hard to actually know what to...say.

[Whooops, up she goes! Aiba feels very justified for having decided to try to keep her form hidden -- this proves she was right in doing that, secrecy aside. She's just really vulnerable]

[That was partly your fault, Aiba. Aiba glares at him, her paws in his fingers to try to stop getting squeezed. It's not all that entirely successful]

[Jonathan, who had similarly had several alarms go off in his head hearing that, looks at Obi in horror.]

S-shouldn't that give us more reason to go in there? Dear God, I don't want my Mina stuck in a room with someone that could eat her!

It is really not that big a deal, I will explain at the next meeting—!

"Shima" is your...classmate, wasn't it? Who did this before?

And you don't have to apologize either. It's a difficult thing to talk about, and feelings are hard to sort through in times like these besides.

I'm... Well, I'll be all right. I'm worried about the others here, if anything. But all I can really do right now is check in on them when I can, and keep believing that they're good people, and none of them are going to act on this.

[He smiles for the first time as he watches his mom help Kim comfort some of the younger captives who are having a harder time dealing with the situation.]

I bet she's given Fontaine so much crap already. I wish I could hear it.

[ He looks to the captives in the glass room. For a moment, the Undertaker's gaze is fixed on a seemingly random nerd with bright green eyes that seem glow ever so slightly... Or maybe that's just the glare from the guy's lenses. The nerd seems to be completely out of his element and has resorted to hiding in the corner and occasionally trying to strike up conversations with people like that man with one eye-

There's a man with one eye? The Undertaker stares at that guy for a moment before turning to face Aiba in her current form. Then it clicks. ]

Is that your partner, then? [ He says, pointing at said one-eyed bloke. ]

So it is a personal thing for you. [ wait, did he just selfishly vent his way into being honorbound to listen to a teenager's problems if the teenager so decides— ] Also very unfortunate.

It's someone important to me that doesn't deserve it. But I think that can be said about most in there.

[Like, he's not going to pass judgment on anyone in there, but he supposes it's possible that people deserve it? Maybe?]

I imagine that's exactly why he won't let us hear them.
