[ There's yet again a line of spherical submersibles back there, ready to take off as the citizens of New Rapture climb aboard one or two at a time. And one at a time the bathyspheres descend into the abyss below New Rapture, deeper and deeper, once again to the dome on the seafloor, lit all around by bio-luminescent... slugs, of some kind? They're a little closer today.

The ring of podiums still sits in the center, just like last week. Two more podiums are going to stand empty. Two more dead. By the end of the day, best case scenario? It'll be three.

The projector clicks on. Mayor Fontaine is as here as he's gonna be. ]

[ Don't mind the Undertaker, he actually slept through much of the investigation and spent some time after trying to comfort poor Jonathan. He's still wearing the blobfish kigu he fell asleep in and only his bangs are thoroughly brushed out...

At least he can keep an eye on Jonathan since his podium's still right next to his. That, and he brought along one of those "social distancing devices" from the regain machine... Just in case there's any trouble.

The Undertaker has that thing tucked under one arm, pointy side up, and leans on his podium. ]

I have to agree with this. I understand being angry and upset about Obi's death, but please remember that this was most likely caused by the motive. Let's try to remember that going forward.

I feel like there is a significant difference between knowingly consigning over twenty people to death and killing one person. Perhaps if they were confess now and save us the trouble of hunting them down I would think better of them, but the longer they draw things out the more I am inclined to think ill of them.
