Good morning, New Rapture. The long night is ending.

Your number is as low as it's going to go. You may not know it for sure yet, but there's something in the cold New Rapture recycled air that suggests maybe things are about to change. An act of defiance against the Mayor actually panned out, and now... the mysteries of the underwater city are beginning to finally reveal themselves to you. How much has been just smoke and mirrors, like the execution room? How much has been real? And how much longer can your captor continue to avoid granting you answers?

No new wing of the city, this week. There are still offices to explore in city hall, if you'd like, but in general you get the feeling that it's going to take a change to make the next new information available. And make no mistake: change is coming, my friends. Stay strong. Stay together. Get any last coins in before the end.

[That nervous energy has worked its way out of Rossiu's system by now and he's more or less back to how he usually is. Well. Sort of! While he's not searching for hidden rooms this time, he is going to be going back over all the rooms we have available to investigate them. He's not going to find anything new, but he feels it's important to make sure we didn't miss anything! Feel free to find him anywhere poking through things and searching for any more clues we may have missed.

Of course, during the course of his search he's going to end up investigating the violet key rooms - starting with #9, unless I've gotten my colors mixed up! What's going on in here?

After all of that, you can find him in the restaurant. He's actually working on notes instead of you know. Eating. But he'll look up when he notices your character's presence.]

Good evening. [He's pretty sure it's evening, anyway??] How are you holding up?

[ This is a surprisingly normal room! There's a desk, some bookshelves, a closet, a big carpet on the ground... one could easily mistake this for the room of someone who isn't uh. Well, the person who the portrait suggests this room belonged to.

[SMH OF COURSE THIS IS WHAT I GET. Why would Ryuunosuke be anything OTHER than the purple key anyway. Goddamn.

Anyway, a relatively normal-looking room! Let's start with the carpet... is it leopard print.]

[ It is, but it's like. A leopard print that's approaching tasteful. It has the air of an aesthetic compromise.

There's something carved into the ground under it, though. ]

[I'm so proud of whoever managed to find a way to make this almost tasteful. Good for them.

But hmm!! What's this?]

[ truly we love to see whatever the FUCK this is! ]

Okay, well. Demon summoning aside!! Let's go check out the bookshelves. Surely those will be nice and normal unlike whatever this is!! (Assuming there is not anything more to gain from staring at this!)]

[ Apart from Circle Of Summon Caster Ayn Rand, that's the ground for you!

The bookshelf is full of a bunch of seemingly untouched books on sculpture, as well as... a small section of books on Joan of Arc for some reason? But it looks like there's something on the shelves behind the books. ]

Eh? Evening. Doin' alright, I guess. ...'S kinda quiet. Bluh.

[ Today he's going to make his own food just to mix it up! Floyd props the kitchen door open so he can converse with Rossiu. ]

[Of course! He doesn't mind, he's still working on his notes.]

I'm alright as well. I hope the quiet is a good sign... I doubt she was expecting anyone to be able to break through her technology like that.

Ehhh, I don't like quiet much. Means there's nothing happening, and that means it's boring.

[ Floyd does mean in general- when this place gets chaotic, it usually means something bad happened. But he does recall the raucous fun the vandalism party was. Good times.

He will snicker a bit, recounting how annoyed the Mayor sounded in his head, though. ]

Aha, for real~. I'm just upset I didn't get to see the look on her face when it happened. Bet Water Fountain lady was real mad.

With any luck, we'll be able to irritate her like that soon enough. I hope we'll be able to see her reaction as well.

[While he's usually far more level-headed, Rossiu is absolutely here for letting everyone else go wild in revenge!!! We've been stuck here, killing each other, for too damn long after all.]

[ If something this substantial can happen, there's definitely hope they can bust out of this watery hell-soaked city they've been stuck in. ]

Sooner than later, hopefully. It's already been a few weeks, somethin's bound to pop off even more soon.

[He brought nachos to the fancy restaurant because fuck it. He feels like Eats Children guy is probably not one of the founders you've kind of got to hand it to so he feels kind of like eating nachos in the fancy restaurant...]

Well enough by current standards, I suppose.

I imagine you have been investigating, then?

[You are absolutely correct, Gaius. Good for you!!!]

I have been, though I haven't turned up anything from the areas we already had access to. I found a few things in the Founders' offices, but I'm not sure just how important they are.

I can say the same. I did manage to happen upon Reeve Tuesti's office--the one who was in charge of the Gold Saucer. ...I... get the impression he is not from my world, which is deeply confusing to me, still...

That... really is baffling. Maybe he was in contact with someone from your world and based the designs off of that? Though I suppose it's good to know that it is someone entirely unrelated, however baffling that might be.

I... perhaps. I would not know. I do not believe the Mandervilles have interdimensional interests... but I suppose yes, it is something of a relief. I suppose it is something to look into later, perhaps...

[Brett picks up a menu and wanders over to the card machine. He seems disinclined to elaborate! Also he's just openly lying!]

[...Wow, that was really not convincing! But hmm, he's not really sure forcing the issue is a good idea...

Anyway, Rossiu sets down his pen and sets aside his notes for the time being, watching Brett for a moment.]

...You're sure?

[inaclearing]

[Brett shoots Rossiu a look over his menu. He's not under any particular illusions about his lying abilities.]

Of course not, but there's no point in talking about it. Things are bad enough as it is.

Yes, things do look dire, but that doesn't mean that we should ignore our emotional states.

[...This would probably sound better coming from someone who actually expresses emotions more freely, but it's too late for that!!]
