Week 8
Good morning, New Rapture. The long night is ending.
Your number is as low as it's going to go. You may not know it for sure yet, but there's something in the cold New Rapture recycled air that suggests maybe things are about to change. An act of defiance against the Mayor actually panned out, and now... the mysteries of the underwater city are beginning to finally reveal themselves to you. How much has been just smoke and mirrors, like the execution room? How much has been real? And how much longer can your captor continue to avoid granting you answers?
No new wing of the city, this week. There are still offices to explore in city hall, if you'd like, but in general you get the feeling that it's going to take a change to make the next new information available. And make no mistake: change is coming, my friends. Stay strong. Stay together. Get any last coins in before the end.

SUNDAY
INVESTIGATION
Brett takes the entire troop out to the lake, where Blake can swim and catch fish, Cruger can do his dog thing, and Papyrus can...run around with a stick. That's probably fine.
For his own part, Brett is stretched out beneath a tree near the edge of the lake. It's a spot where he isn't really visible from the main path, unless you venture closer. Seems like he's sort of trying to avoid people. That's not to say he's being particularly wary; actually, it kinda looks like he's starting to doze off.
So much so, in fact, that later in the afternoon he appears several feet above the pool and falls in! He flails for a minute before hauling himself out, and sits on the side spluttering. Great. Perfect. Exactly what he wanted.
After that...well, there's nothing to do. He doesn't really want to talk to anyone, and he doesn't exactly have any useful hobbies to work on. So he finally slinks off to city hall to see what he can find with that indigo key. The first office he'd come to that it fits is #7, so let's start there!
Pretty late at night, he finally breaks down and goes to the restaurant for some food. He won't be lingering here long, as when it finally arrives he's definitely gonna just take it back to his suite, but you can still catch him while he's flipping listlessly through the menu or lying down in one of the booths waiting.]

investigation
well. anyway. Today is a good day to investigate! Brett gave him the yellow key, so he's going to head over to city hall and start poking through Room #4! Why not go in numerical order. Let's see what cursed shit he finds while investigating.
Once he has done his duties for the day, he is going to go to the library and... steal some fucking books. Sure. Why not. It feels like they're getting somewhere, so he'll go ahead and see if he can find anything his kids might like...]

Investigation!
Since Floyd has the green key, he's going to take a little look at Room #5 in City Hall first, if that's not been checked out!
Later on, you can catch him taking a dip in the pool, swimming around and just vibing. Funko Pop Azul is also vibing nearby the edge of the pool too.
When he's no longer vibing with the pool, Floyd is going to try his luck in a few games at the bowling alley! He looks pretty focused with his tongue sticking out!
Afterwards, you can find him wandering around, munching on a plate of octopus carpaccio. ]

investigation!
Of course, during the course of his search he's going to end up investigating the violet key rooms - starting with #9, unless I've gotten my colors mixed up! What's going on in here?
After all of that, you can find him in the restaurant. He's actually working on notes instead of you know. Eating. But he'll look up when he notices your character's presence.]
Good evening. [He's pretty sure it's evening, anyway??] How are you holding up?

TUESDAY
?????
All right. Meeting room, thirty minutes.
[ Once you’ve all filed into the now-familiar empty room, the screens flick on. The Mayor sounds… slightly exasperated, but just slightly. She’s holding it together pretty well. ]
So. My execution room is broken. My assistant disobeyed me and broke one of you out. You already have all of your areas. I have rats in the walls. There’s a pattern here, and I’m going to stay a step ahead of the writing on the wall. I’m going to go ahead and cut off this chaos at the pass before something worse happens. Pack your bags, everyone. We’re ending this tomorrow. You’re all going to come down to the trial room at noon and we’re gonna have it out. Like a big old final exam.
[ As she speaks, her usual confidence comes back to her, and you get the strong sense there’s something she’s not telling you. ]
As the late Franz Kafka said: "There is an infinite amount of hope in the universe… but not for us."
[ And with that, you’re alone. 24 hours remain. ]

After that announcement, he can be found sitting in the library. He's not reading anything; rather, he's carefully tearing large sheafs of paper out of the journal he's been keeping this whole time. He still doesn't react quite in his normal manner if someone joins him - he looks a tad bit wary of everyone, truth be told - but he does ask:]
If you could leave something behind for the next people who come here, what would it be?
[First, he goes to the arboretum, where he walks in an odd measured pattern between several trees before crouching down and digging in the dirt. He buries one of the boxes here, stamping the dirt down when it's finished.
He goes to the church next, pries up a floorboard, and sticks the other box in there. Then he spends a little while jumbling up all the holy symbols on the wall. Look, the puzzles have a point, probably!
Finally, he wanders over to the vending machine. He doesn't have any coins right at the moment, but he does have something else he picked up. Brett spends a minute or two checking the machine over: peering into the coin slot, crouching down to try and look up into the dispenser. He even pokes his arm inside a little, though he draws it out before he risks getting stuck.
There don't seem to be a lot of great options. In the end, he wanders off to the art room and returns with a roll of tape. He picks a spot on the machine's hull and tapes a strip of photo-booth pictures there - pictures of Valerie and Alice having fun together.
Mission accomplished, he pats the machine lightly.]
There you go. It wasn't doing any good where it was...though I guess I'm just assuming you can see it...
[Signs point to probably??? She seems to have some kind of sensory something, anyway???]
Well. Thanks for being here.

Investigation!
With the red key in hand, Floyd is going to check out Door #2!
Later on, the eel is going to be found wandering around! Mostly between the kitchen and the bowling alley setting things up for the bowling party! He wouldn't mind the help, but also don't get in his way either because he's tall and strong and will accidentally barrel you down. ]
