WEEK 5

That's three murders now - and this last trial got more than slightly out of hand. It looks like you might be in for another tough week... or at least, maybe that's just the refusal of this place to change too much. You lose Saturday again, but maybe six-day weeks are starting to feel normal by now. Who knows? The cycle of day and night continues apace, changing so little.

Speaking of change, though, there's a new area to look through, the biggest and most complex yet. And the end of one wing of the facility, from the looks of it - though you can probably guess where more areas might start to open up.

And speaking of opening up (segues!), this week if you're out particularly late, you might sometimes see Angel out and about! So hey, maybe change is on the horizon.

Just gotta hope it's a change for the better, don't you?

Incidentally, the workshop is where he'll be for most of the day, in the interest of passing time and working on The Monstrosity; that fucking thing has already had nine puppets and two matryoshkas sacrificed to it, and it looks like it. God, this thing is the worst modern art exhibit.]

[ Please take these two marionettes off her hands! She got them in the first week and they've been stuffed away ever since.

But once she actually catches a glimpse of what they're to be killed in the name of, her response is nothing more than an impressed: ]

[This thing is a godawful combination of conjoined torsos and limbs everywhere and heads where heads probably shouldn't be, to say nothing of several sharp bits jutting out of the...mass that resemble fangs aimed outward. It's great. Nine puppets and two matryoshka sets have died for this so far.]

I'll take them, sure. At this point I just want to see how unholy I can make it before I declare it good enough.

He disappears, but when he comes back, it's not with more puppets. Oh, no. He's come to lay three ten-gallon hats and six wizard hats at the many, many feet of this eldritch abomination.]

Its heads looked cold.
