Happy New Year! ... You're still here. Looks like The Captain wasn't lying when he said the murdering is now up to you. That, or you can all live here on your own. Regardless, it's time to settle in. The days start passing much less eventfully after that first one, and, well... on it goes, huh?

There might not be a whole cruise ship to explore just yet, but there are a variety of amenities available to all of you! Who ever heard of a boring cruise ship, anyway? As the week goes on, you might even start to see some of those strange coins appear for you!

Better buckle down and get to know your fellow passengers, though, if you want to stand a chance of weathering this storm.

Okay no lie, she's a little concerned with how pale he is. The last group of people that pale lived underground and were very eager to kill anyone and everyone like her.]

No, there is not. But that's fine. It is not needed to enjoy oneself.

I am incapable of alcohol intoxication. But I agree - it would be very unwise for anyone to become drunk in this environment.

That has the potential to cause more harm than good, I will agree. But...you cannot become inebriated at all?

There is a substance known as "polywater" that has a similar effect on me. It does much the same to humans. I have only experienced it once - it was...disconcerting.

Hm! Well, if you did not enjoy the experience, then it is a good thing you are not required to go through it again. It does seem that some of the people here wish they could, though.

I have observed that it is a common leisure activity for humans, even when they are not stressed.

Anything to the contrary on the "profiles" on the "smart-phone" is simply a clerical error.

[......yeah that's pretty clearly a lie. But does he care enough to push it? It probably isn't, overall, that relevant to the situation at hand. More than that...well, Data still wouldn't lie about being human if he thought he could pass, probably, but he thinks he understands the impulse.]

That was careless of them. My own is quite accurate.

That is a possibility. But would he be amiable to passing along a message like that?

Who can say? He did not seem entirely personable. But, as first officer, that ought to be among his duties.

Hm...perhaps not personable, no, but I found him cordial enough. I will have to remember to ask the next time I see him.
