WEEK 1
Happy New Year! ... You're still here. Looks like The Captain wasn't lying when he said the murdering is now up to you. That, or you can all live here on your own. Regardless, it's time to settle in. The days start passing much less eventfully after that first one, and, well... on it goes, huh?
There might not be a whole cruise ship to explore just yet, but there are a variety of amenities available to all of you! Who ever heard of a boring cruise ship, anyway? As the week goes on, you might even start to see some of those strange coins appear for you!
Better buckle down and get to know your fellow passengers, though, if you want to stand a chance of weathering this storm.

MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
FRIDAY | SATURDAY
[ ooc: Welcome to peace week! Feel free to mingle (and investigate, if you like) to your hearts' content! Please ensure all investigation toplevels are marked accordingly, and otherwise enjoy! If you wish to talk to The Captain or Davy Jones, look here for the former and here for the latter! ]

heard in every anime known to humankind:]I could find no key for the red padlock, but I managed to get a look through the grates. To my own surprise, there appears to be a figure beyond it, standing at a table. They may be some manner of statue or mannequin, because so far as I have been able to tell, they have not moved from where they stand.

Investigation!
He's used to a lot of activity. But frankly, there's not...that much for him to do here. He doesn't even need to eat...so why is he hanging out in the buffet buffet around breakfast time? Does he just want to chill with everyone else? He doesn't even have any food to pretend to eat.
After that's done, he goes to the library to hang out for a while before the meeting. At his processing speeds, he could have already read all of these books, so he's attempting to pace himself. Right now, it looks like he's sticking with the military histories; he's got a pile of three or four, and is trying to read them slowly. Like a person. He's still flipping the pages absurdly fast.]
It is interesting that they seem to have brought books from several different universes as well.
[At some point, he's gonna have to get into all those romance novels. If only for something to do.
At night, he'll be sitting out on the upper deck by the pool. He's got some paper and a pen, as well as a map of Earth from the back of one of the nonfiction books, and seems to be consulting the stars. Not charting them out, but if you go look over his shoulder, he's definitely keeping records and doing math. Can he chart their course?]

Investigation(?)
With that in mind, Flayn goes to a place she hadn't had much interest in before: the gym! She is not STRONK, nor is she looking to get ripped, but no one seemed to say they had looked in here particularly, so to be sure that nothing is missed, she is taking her time investigating each and every piece of equipment. Every weight is looked at from all angles, and the smaller ones (think 5lbs) are moved to check if anything is hiding underneath them. The bikes are scrutinized, Flayn taking the time to crank the pedals with her hands like...like a crank winch. Like a thing you use to pull up a bucket from a well. The treadmills are investigated in a similar manner, no buttons pressed, just a short young lady using her tiny arms to push the belt inch by inch to check its entire length.
One could say this is a workout in and of itself! And boy, does Flayn feel like it has been. Afterwards, she takes a brief trip to the vending machine room and then retreats to the Party Zone with a newly-acquired pack of pens and a notebook, carefully copying down the information on the profiles from her device. It's just a way to get the information in her head, so she won't forget it, in a more familiar format.
Her handwriting is quite nice! It's got that old-timey script feel to it. On the table are some of her earlier procured vending machine snacks, which she nibbles at every so often. Even the Takis Freyja gave her are being eaten! It's just a nice, chill time. That said, if you would like some snacks and don't feel like going to the vending machines yourself, Flayn is happy to share.]

- The machines are well-maintained!
- The machines are in fact electrical!
- They don't... actually have any obvious power supplies. Like obviously Flayn isn't an electrical engineer, but there are no wires or anything. ]

The ship is her oyster, or something.
She finds herself aimlessly wandering through the party zone after, grabbing some of the leftover party poppers and making a mess on the floor. Just because. In the end, she mostly stares at the chandeliers, in a mix of awe and annoyance. ]
You think the people who make this shit know how gaudy it is? Like. You think they know how many hot pockets it could buy instead? ...Or like, eggs, or some shit?
[ She's philosophical today. It's philosophical Chloe hours.
Later in the night, she decides to just...look at the stars, by the pool. She'll be there well into evening. ]
Party Zone
Maybe people buy it because they're expensive and...have nothing better to spend money on?
[A ton of hot pockets or eggs would be a far better decision, Filbo has to agree]

[ She was coming to make more of a mess with the poppers, too, honestly. Alice doesn't really understand what a hot pocket is (and doesn't care to ask), and eggs seem like a weird thing to buy instead, so she just kind of doesn't acknowledge the second part. ]

That money certainly could be spent on something better. I'm not sure what "hot pockets" are, but I've no doubt that anything would have been better than something this showy.

Plumeria isn't exactly expecting anyone else here, but she's not surprised. Still, this one is...fun, she supposes. So hopefully you don't mind hearing some footsteps come over, even if Plumeria is keeping her distance.]

But, she does come to the meeting that Zero put together, even if she stays quiet during the whole thing, and given that nothing bad has happened yet despite that grisly proclamation the captain gave, she risks actually spending more time outside of her room for today.
One of the first places you can find her is at the buffet, this time really examining the options for food and drinks here. It's been a while since she last had a good cup of tea, but there's this wide display of different drinks that she's never seen or heard before that she picks up, examining curiously. What is a virgin cocktail anyway, or this concoction called "Sprite"...
The other place that Lorna gravitates towards is the library, and is the one that she takes in with wide-eyed amazement. She's never seen this many books gathered in one place before, even if others may think it's not as impressive as other libraries they've been in before. She clearly seems to be enjoying herself, as she takes different books off the shelves to look at the covers of, read a few excerpts and either put back whichever don't interest her, or steadily build an impressive stack on the floor next to her once she finally sits down to start reading properly. Please try not to trip over her pile of books, she will feel very guilty about that if you do.]

[Surely she's staring at everything because she's trying to judge if there's anything inedible around, he decides. Yeah, that seems about right. People here are careful, as they should be.
Still, Filbo, who apparently has lost all of the concerns he had the first night, has piled his plate with quite a bit of stuff, probably more than he can actually eat]

After she inevitably leaves, Alice finds herself by the vending machines, taking full advantage of the constant refreshing of items by stocking up on a few packages whatever counts as Oreos here. While she's waiting for them to finish dispensing after slamming the buttons several times over, she looks through the other machines. She eventually settles on the nondescript one in the corner.
When she gets to the nondescript one in the corner, she tries pressing whatever buttons that are on it. When it doesn't react, she gets a little annoyed. When pressing the buttons doesn't work, she huffs, stomping her foot. ]
Why is this stupid thing busted!
[ It's getting a swift kick to the side. Sorry, vending machine-kun.
Later, she hits up the library, thumbing through the collection of thrillers in hopes of finding something at least something sort of interesting. She finds a title piques her interest, but it turns out it's just another trashy romance novel. ]
Ew. No.
[ She makes kind of a small gagging noise as she puts it right back where she found it.
Otherwise she sort of keeps to herself for a large part of the rest of the day, not exactly wanting to put up with anyone else's shit at the moment. It's not until much, much later at night, where she can be found on the deck, taking part of the new tradition of leaning against the railing and staring out into the inky darkness of the ocean. Upon closer inspection, it looks like she's finishing a packet of the aforementioned Oreos, balling up the empty wrapper and dropping it overboard.
... i-is there a rule about littering? ]
