Happy New Year! ... You're still here. Looks like The Captain wasn't lying when he said the murdering is now up to you. That, or you can all live here on your own. Regardless, it's time to settle in. The days start passing much less eventfully after that first one, and, well... on it goes, huh?

There might not be a whole cruise ship to explore just yet, but there are a variety of amenities available to all of you! Who ever heard of a boring cruise ship, anyway? As the week goes on, you might even start to see some of those strange coins appear for you!

Better buckle down and get to know your fellow passengers, though, if you want to stand a chance of weathering this storm.

Oh, well, not officially, exactly, which is kind of why I was hoping to find those books... but in the boundless sky of my heart, my darling Alice is the sun, moon, and stars!!

While I personally am not versed in firsthand romantic experience, I believe it is not out of the question to do things that a young lady might appreciate from a suitor regardless of setting. Perhaps making a private space where you two could enjoy a meal together would be helpful? Maybe on the deck, so you can see the ocean! Oh, and if you find something she might like, you could give it to her as a surprise gift!

Thanks! I hope so too. I mean, obviously the circumstances could be better, but I want to make the most of it while I have this chance, you know? We traveled plenty back home, but those trips were never really for fun.

Setting aside the fact that it seems kind of tragic that this girl doesn't have firsthand romantic experience when she's 5000 or something, he listens to her suggestions, nodding thoughtfully. ]

Hm... I'm not sure how likely I am to find something she'd like that much in a place like this [ unless there's like, a secret riding crop vending machine that he hasn't found yet ] but dinner overlooking the water might not be a bad idea! The sunsets are probably pretty amazing out here.

You never know, those "vending machines" seem to have a plethora of unusual goodies within them.

Mm, yes, sunset on the sea...that would be an ideal romantic backdrop. You could pick out the food she likes the best from the spread we have here, and set it up on...a table from that party room?

[All that stuff is just there, there's no rule saying they can't move it.]

Huh... Yeah, that's true. Between the food that's out on the tables and the wrapped ones in those machines, maybe I could set up something like a small-scale cake buffet.

[Cake especially! Even if the cake at the Jimmy Buffet is kind of sad. Maybe it can be improved upon with Dunkaroo icing?]
