Happy New Year! ... You're still here. Looks like The Captain wasn't lying when he said the murdering is now up to you. That, or you can all live here on your own. Regardless, it's time to settle in. The days start passing much less eventfully after that first one, and, well... on it goes, huh?

There might not be a whole cruise ship to explore just yet, but there are a variety of amenities available to all of you! Who ever heard of a boring cruise ship, anyway? As the week goes on, you might even start to see some of those strange coins appear for you!

Better buckle down and get to know your fellow passengers, though, if you want to stand a chance of weathering this storm.

Mmm, I could use some gloves if I'm goin' to be punching robots. Wouldn't be the first time, but I'm not the one it's a hobby for.

Allenby, for her part, is going to pause for a bit, look around -- shrug, and then start wrapping her hands with whatever in the gym passes for towels or hand towels or whatever. You make do with what you've got.]

I do have some training in hand-to-hand combat.

[How do androids work?? Can't you just download a combat program... The real questions. She isn't as used to androids as she is to straight up robots, so that's about the best she's got, but Allenby doesn't seem too disappointed.

Instead she shuffles over to a more open area -- there likely aren't any rings for use, but you make do.]

[--is what she says, but she does a little hop-step as though to give her opponent time to prepare, even as she gauges where she wants to land her hits. If nothing else, this gal is into Fair & Square when it comes to conversing with her fists.]

[All that considered, once she's given the signal she moves fast -- Data will find his space being encroached on immediately, and Allenby will be going for the time-honored tradition of several punches to the face.]

[Data, unfortunately, can move inhumanly fast when he feels like it, and quickly brings up an arm to block. With the other arm, he goes to strike back - not at the face, he is trying to be conscientious, but towards the torso.]
