Happy New Year! ... You're still here. Looks like The Captain wasn't lying when he said the murdering is now up to you. That, or you can all live here on your own. Regardless, it's time to settle in. The days start passing much less eventfully after that first one, and, well... on it goes, huh?

There might not be a whole cruise ship to explore just yet, but there are a variety of amenities available to all of you! Who ever heard of a boring cruise ship, anyway? As the week goes on, you might even start to see some of those strange coins appear for you!

Better buckle down and get to know your fellow passengers, though, if you want to stand a chance of weathering this storm.

Tourists are stupid and anyone taking a vacation on a boat just to be on a boat deserves what happens to them.

I could not possibly agree more.

[ the game has been going for less than a week but already i am like 75% sure this is the most sincere and heartfelt statement magica will ever make, for the duration ]

But the target demographic here is the kind of dolt who voluntarily goes on a cruise, so.

Then why did they bring me here? I don't go on boats if I don't have to.

If you haven't worked that out by now, then you're the one who deserves what happens.

And the big blue marshmallow does? Honestly, this is 101 level evil. If you hope to cultivate a garden of human misery, you can't just choose people who want to kill from the jump.

Well, eventually, yes. But not for a while. Not if you do it right.

[silentscout]

[That gets this look from Lalli.]

[ She shrugs, smiling in a way that manages to be both unpleasant and entirely dismissive. In conjunction with her physicality, the whole look implies nothing more aggressive than "tough crowd", or maybe "eh, what are you gonna do?" ]

So?

I don't understand you.

[And he's just. Walking off now.

Tough crowd indeed.]

[ Okay, so on the bright side she's not running after Lalli to get the last word! Not because she's above that in any way, just because he hasn't managed to offend her as much as Sara has. But she is gonna just yell after him: ]

We are literally here to kill each other.

[ Like, she cups her hands around her bill and everything. ]

[He turns back and cups a hand around his mouth to shout back at her:]

You don't have to be so happy about it!
