WEEK 1
Happy New Year! ... You're still here. Looks like The Captain wasn't lying when he said the murdering is now up to you. That, or you can all live here on your own. Regardless, it's time to settle in. The days start passing much less eventfully after that first one, and, well... on it goes, huh?
There might not be a whole cruise ship to explore just yet, but there are a variety of amenities available to all of you! Who ever heard of a boring cruise ship, anyway? As the week goes on, you might even start to see some of those strange coins appear for you!
Better buckle down and get to know your fellow passengers, though, if you want to stand a chance of weathering this storm.

MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
FRIDAY | SATURDAY
[ ooc: Welcome to peace week! Feel free to mingle (and investigate, if you like) to your hearts' content! Please ensure all investigation toplevels are marked accordingly, and otherwise enjoy! If you wish to talk to The Captain or Davy Jones, look here for the former and here for the latter! ]

[Plumeria's tone is soft when she says that much, just keeping her gaze affixed to the sky. Pensive, almost. She almost wonders if that's entirely true; not after seeing this place, obviously, but...
Well, she remembers her time in Ljósálfheimr, a time where she didn't even see one lecherous person, in a land of sweetness and delight. In Midgard as well, where that strange sense of deja vu washed over her and Triandra both before they moved on. For a brief moment, she wonders how true that is.
...And then she forces such thoughts out of her head; of course she wants to go back there. Lady Freyja created that realm, beautiful as can be, and no others can compare.]
...Will you be alright, Lady Freyja?
[She looks back towards her lady at that. She's certain that she will, but...if they're under these rules, under these conditions, Plumeria wants to make sure.]
no subject
Of course, Plumeria. Do I not seem it...?
[It isn't a harsh question at all; just...giving off the impression that she isn't sure how to reply.]
no subject
[Plumeria just kind of brings herself upright to look at Lady Freyja, a little...panicked, kind of, because oh no she totally overstepped--]
I simply wanted to make sure that you were alright. Please, forgive my presumptuousness.
[Plumeria looks away, after saying that, though.]
...I can understand the feeling of homesickness, though.
no subject
[She'll let herself slide forward a bit at that, slipping into the water easily.]
I hope that you will do the same; will you tell me, should you not be well?
no subject
Of course, Lady Freyja. You don't need to worry, I certainly will. You have my word.
[It's only slightly a lie, but Plumeria certainly means it for lesser troubles.]
...I don't exactly trust anyone else here, after all.
no subject
[She seems a little frustrated at that, honestly.]
Some of them are more tolerable than the others; I will grant them that much. But in the end, they're mortals. And this entire...incident seems designed to exploit that. They're unpredictable, and you well know their tendencies toward cruelty; it's merely a matter of time before one acts, and I fear that once it starts it won't stop until everyone here has perished.
I don't know what Freyr saw in such creatures, that he would choose loyalty to them over us. But he was wrong to do so.
no subject
...I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks that. Between all of this technology and the fact that we're weakened to such a level...
[Well, it's certainly not good news for either of them and Plumeria sure don't like that.]
Humans are cruel beasts, and nothing more. King Freyr was absolutely wrong to trust such wretched creatures--it's only a matter of time before their true natures come to the surface.
[And yet, it's strange, she hasn't seen their dreams in days but she's seeing people without their hideous desires up front, and it's--well, nothing she wants to think about.]
...We will have to make sure we keep our guard up, so we don't get hurt ourselves.
no subject
[Which is something she really really hates, honestly, but it is what it is, at least for now.]
I want to avoid a physical altercation if it can be helped.
no subject
...By which I mean being absolutely rotten to them, anyway--]
Yes, that may be for the best. The less reason they have to try and harm you, the better.
[...]
I've simply been trying to keep them all at arms length. The less anyone bother me, the better.
no subject
Of course, Plumeria. I have faith that you can handle yourself, but I think it wise to not become too attached to anyone here. Among other concerns.

[Things that will probably be hilarious in a few weeks: this conversation.]
no subject
[Maybe it shouldn't be something she considers a good thing. The fact of the matter is that she does.]
I want you to remain with me. So that we can outlast this, and we can return home.
