Happy New Year! ... You're still here. Looks like The Captain wasn't lying when he said the murdering is now up to you. That, or you can all live here on your own. Regardless, it's time to settle in. The days start passing much less eventfully after that first one, and, well... on it goes, huh?

There might not be a whole cruise ship to explore just yet, but there are a variety of amenities available to all of you! Who ever heard of a boring cruise ship, anyway? As the week goes on, you might even start to see some of those strange coins appear for you!

Better buckle down and get to know your fellow passengers, though, if you want to stand a chance of weathering this storm.

[...well, Jasper is feeling a bit emotionally sore as he tries to work out what the heck any of this stuff in the gym is, but on the other hand, he does consider the question.]

I will admit to being more accustomed to fighting with weapons than fighting unarmed, but I suppose it cannot hurt terribly to try and sharpen my skills in that area.

[He ponders it a bit further before nodding.]

Very well, then. You do not mind if I remove my shirt for the sake of having a better range of motion, then?

[Are you being maudlin over the treadmills, Jasper, really doesn't become you. For a dude with prettier in his name he does do an excellent bit of brooding, surely, but Allenby is just happy as anything not to have to wait around.]

Well, if you ever dig up a weapon I'd be happy to face you on your turf! It's just way easier to get the measure of somebody when I can get 'em to put their fists up!

[She's way too enthusiastic about this. Maybe he has made a mistake. Maybe she's just a punching machine.]

Other than that, do whatever you want. Just don't use it as an excuse later.
