Happy New Year! ... You're still here. Looks like The Captain wasn't lying when he said the murdering is now up to you. That, or you can all live here on your own. Regardless, it's time to settle in. The days start passing much less eventfully after that first one, and, well... on it goes, huh?

There might not be a whole cruise ship to explore just yet, but there are a variety of amenities available to all of you! Who ever heard of a boring cruise ship, anyway? As the week goes on, you might even start to see some of those strange coins appear for you!

Better buckle down and get to know your fellow passengers, though, if you want to stand a chance of weathering this storm.

I am not surprised. It seems we are all from completely different places, so it would not make sense if we all knew everything about each other's homes.

[She's at least picked up on the different universes things with ease.

Flayn takes a breath, shrugs.] He has always tried his best. I do not begrudge him that. And when he does have the time...well, "overprotective" and "meddling" are words I would use to describe him, but they do not properly do his actions justice.

You can look up what a helicopter is in the encyclopedia. I'm sure they've got one here.

[You know, like World Book or something.....people remember World Book, right?]

Siblings. Love 'em or hate 'em, you're bound by blood in the end. So that should mean...something, I suppose.

[For a second, it looks like Constantine wants to say something more, but he visibly hesitates. Then he shakes his head, and the moment passes.]

I think it means quite a bit, so you are right in that regard. He's the only family I have.

Well, let's not raise any morbid possibilities quite so soon, when it's not entirely necessary....Constantine finds it prudent to switch topics.]

How've you been findin' the cruise so far, then? Enjoying the food and...uh, sights?

I have. [She smiles.] Despite the circumstances, everything here is quite novel and interesting, and I happen to adore seafood. In that regard, we are not lacking for quality.

Well, then I suppose this is a nice vacation away from home for you!

[At least someone's...having fun!!! Go, Flayn.]

Maybe if we wanted to, we could start a book club. Figure out which of these books are actually worth reading. Or maybe commiserate over the bad ones.

Would that not necessitate multiple copies of the same book?
