Happy New Year! ... You're still here. Looks like The Captain wasn't lying when he said the murdering is now up to you. That, or you can all live here on your own. Regardless, it's time to settle in. The days start passing much less eventfully after that first one, and, well... on it goes, huh?

There might not be a whole cruise ship to explore just yet, but there are a variety of amenities available to all of you! Who ever heard of a boring cruise ship, anyway? As the week goes on, you might even start to see some of those strange coins appear for you!

Better buckle down and get to know your fellow passengers, though, if you want to stand a chance of weathering this storm.

If we wait until tomorrow, it will surely be taken care of, so perhaps we should give it just a little while and check in on it every so often?

[Constantine nods, scratching his chin and frowning.]

Let's give it five, maybe ten minutes.

[And with that, he closes the door. He waits, head tilted to the side and listening for any sort of noise coming from the vending machine room.]

You hear anything?

Ja, sounds good!

[Surely things couldn't be handled that quickly... But given that we have no idea how any of this works and it may actually be ghosts, better to start with smaller increments of time.

Of course, Yeager's listening carefully as well on the other side, but he shakes his head at the question.]

No, nothing. It's very quiet in there.

[Well apart from standard Vending Machine Noises from the working ones.]

[Constantine nods, crossing his arms and waiting. After a few minutes, he pushes open the door to glance in.]

What--

[He throws the door open a little further open. The glass has been swept up and cleaned.]

--goddamn already?

[At that exclamation, Yeager looks in as well.]

That's certainly unexpected.

[Okay, so it's magic. Definitely magic.]

I'm quite impressed with the speed... Does it seem to be a good repair job, though?

[Constantine saunters up to the vending machine and knocks a fist against the front glass, frowning. It certainly seems thicker and more sturdy than before.]

Looks like they might've just replaced it entirely. [He frowns.] Bloody hell.

Entirely?

[Hang on, let him get a look... Oh wow, yeah that definitely does seem different.]

That is impressive. Entirely unexplained, but certainly impressive!
