Happy New Year! ... You're still here. Looks like The Captain wasn't lying when he said the murdering is now up to you. That, or you can all live here on your own. Regardless, it's time to settle in. The days start passing much less eventfully after that first one, and, well... on it goes, huh?

There might not be a whole cruise ship to explore just yet, but there are a variety of amenities available to all of you! Who ever heard of a boring cruise ship, anyway? As the week goes on, you might even start to see some of those strange coins appear for you!

Better buckle down and get to know your fellow passengers, though, if you want to stand a chance of weathering this storm.

[ Alice's probably been hanging out there for awhile again, idly snacking on whatever cookies she was able to get out of the vending machine this time. She sort of gives him a look when he talks. ]

How should I know? That's not a thing where I'm from. [ She takes a bite out of another cookie. ] They all probably sank, right?

That's the logical thing to assume, in'it? But that'd mean we'd sink before long, right?

[A sort of lopsided grin appears on his face.]

I'm wondering if something else happened entirely. If they disappeared without a trace, maybe they got warped somewhere else.

I guess that’s true. [ She’s wondering if that’d be such a bad thing at the moment, though, honestly? This cruise kinda sucks, at least sinking would add some short-term entertainment. ]

Mm, that probably seems more likely. It’s possible that there’s some kind of weakness in the fabric between worlds that could cause them to go somewhere else entirely, I guess.

[Constantine nods.]

And then spend the rest of their lives circling this little triangle in the middle of the ocean, never to be found....

[He trails off, grimacing and rubbing the back of his neck. His headache hasn't gotten any better.]

I hate waiting around to see what happens. I'd rather the Captain just come down and finish this bloody affair himself.

No kidding. He goes all out on the start of all this, and then just sort of vanishes and hopes someone does it for him? It’s good for developing tension and all, but… after awhile, it just gets boring. At least set a deadline or something.

I mean, we're more than likely to die of boredom before long.

[He lets out a small snort.]

The moment that bloke shows his face, I'm gonna sock him in the face. And then I'll ask him where he locked up all the goddamn drinks.

Oooh, that sounds like fun. I'd like a shot at him, too~! ♡

[ she has to maintain her streak of beating masterminds to a pulp! ]

... I wonder what his problem is with alcohol, though. It's not like he's gotta worry about anyone getting so drunk that they fall overboard.

Somethin' about underage drinking. Which is rich, given that he has no problems kidnapping teenagers.

[He cracks a grin.]

Tell you what--if that bastard shows up, you'll be given the first shot at him.

I think I like the sound of that! I'm going to hold you to that, you know.
