Happy New Year! ... You're still here. Looks like The Captain wasn't lying when he said the murdering is now up to you. That, or you can all live here on your own. Regardless, it's time to settle in. The days start passing much less eventfully after that first one, and, well... on it goes, huh?

There might not be a whole cruise ship to explore just yet, but there are a variety of amenities available to all of you! Who ever heard of a boring cruise ship, anyway? As the week goes on, you might even start to see some of those strange coins appear for you!

Better buckle down and get to know your fellow passengers, though, if you want to stand a chance of weathering this storm.

Of course! I mean, the preparations went well, nobody has died, and from what I have been checking around people are taking the situation better than I expected. There hasn't even been a serious fight yet!

Which I'm really surprised about. I expected a serious problem to have popped up by now.

I don't think the Captain will take that well. He'll push for something.

[He has to admit that's veeeeery probable. The Captain won't be happy about the lack of intense conflict so far]

But at the same time he says we have to stay here for a very long time, maybe even forever. If he's ready to wait for that long, then a week of nothing happening wouldn't make him lose his patience, would it?

I don't know if we should believe him right out. Either he really is immature and incompetent, meaning he'll probably get bored quickly, or he's faking it all and we can't predict anything.

If he has a plan why doesn't he get it done right from the start instead of letting us spend a while on his ship? It doesn't make sense to let us start bonding before unleashing any plans.

I don't know yet. None of it makes sense, but there has to be something that explains it. Nothing happens for no reason.
