Happy New Year! ... You're still here. Looks like The Captain wasn't lying when he said the murdering is now up to you. That, or you can all live here on your own. Regardless, it's time to settle in. The days start passing much less eventfully after that first one, and, well... on it goes, huh?

There might not be a whole cruise ship to explore just yet, but there are a variety of amenities available to all of you! Who ever heard of a boring cruise ship, anyway? As the week goes on, you might even start to see some of those strange coins appear for you!

Better buckle down and get to know your fellow passengers, though, if you want to stand a chance of weathering this storm.

[Despite the formal wear, Adeline's going to still be wearing her labcoat and bathing suit. She does acquiesce to adding a bowtie, at least, along with a velvet cape that swishes behind her.]

A suit felt...overly restrictive, here.

[She mostly sips mocktails and nibbles on seafood, but she's quite happy to mingle around.]

Indeed I do. I feel most comfortable around the water, after all.

Even with your mechanical parts?

Well, of course they're waterproofed. And quite a few of them make swimming even easier. [Her tail swishes back and forth a bit more demonstratively.]

Is that why you got them --wait, that's intrusive. Sorry.

Oh, I don't mind discussing them. [Her tail continues waving back and forth.] I definitely want to be closer to the ocean, as close as I can be, and this felt like the best way to do it. I think everyone who wants to change themselves this way should be given that chance.

I guess. It's not something you really see where I'm from.

That's a shame. [There's a pause after she says that.] Well...no, I suppose I shouldn't judge. It's still new in my world as well, after all, and most people don't go for the full package so fast.

Usually, when people seem upset about my world, it's because the war's gone on so long.

...that's also worrisome, of course. Though I don't think I know the exact number there.
