Happy New Year! ... You're still here. Looks like The Captain wasn't lying when he said the murdering is now up to you. That, or you can all live here on your own. Regardless, it's time to settle in. The days start passing much less eventfully after that first one, and, well... on it goes, huh?

There might not be a whole cruise ship to explore just yet, but there are a variety of amenities available to all of you! Who ever heard of a boring cruise ship, anyway? As the week goes on, you might even start to see some of those strange coins appear for you!

Better buckle down and get to know your fellow passengers, though, if you want to stand a chance of weathering this storm.

Right! I've met some fairly talented performers who can handle two, maybe three of those, but all of them? That goes far beyond triple threat!

It truly does. All of this would make him a quadruple threat, wouldn't it? But I imagine it's far more than simply that.

[...And good on you for not bringing that up, Yeager, Plumeria eases just. Very slightly after that much, looking back out towards the party with that same smile.]

...It really is so nice to see them at peace, though. I certainly hope that this show of unity will keep anyone from acting for a little while, at least.

[She's not naive enough to think that this'll stop them for good, but...they at least have this much.]

I'm honestly a bit surprised. I expected at least half our number to simply refuse to show up. Either out of fear or a general distaste for such a events... or even having no goodwill whatsoever toward the rest of us.

[It would've been easy for this to turn into something disappointing and worrying, in other words.]

I suppose it does help that Filbo's involved, though! Between the three of them, I imagine most people had a hard time saying no.

[Filbo and Sylvando are aggressively cheerful and helpful and Freyja is more chill about it, but still a rather calming presence.]

[Honestly, Yeager isn't the only one. Plumeria expected that only a dedicated or curious few would make their way out here, and yet, this strange show of unity has managed to bring so many of them together...]

Yes, I imagine that does help. They've been nothing but kind to the others, I'm sure, which certainly added points in their favor.

It's...really amazing how such kindness can reach others. This party seems to be proof of that much.

[And yet, even saying that feels a little strange. Hmm, Bad.]

[Yeager glances at Plumeria for a moment after that's out there, but he turns his attention back to the party soon enough.]

It is a little odd, isn't it? This situation is a little unique, certainly, but there's some truth to that anywhere, I'd think.

Something sour comes upon Plumeria's face as Lady Freyja's words echo in her mind, and she glances away from the crowd once it sinks in.]

...Anywhere is a bit of a stretch, especially with humans taken into consideration. It's likely just this situation getting to my head.

[Plumeria's getting far too insipid.]

[It's not exactly a surprise that Plumeria doesn't take well to this line of conversation, so after a moment Yeager simply shrugs and lets it go. He certainly isn't going to forget it, but he doesn't feel like poking Plumeria about it more right now.]

At the very least tonight certainly has been enjoyable! It's nice to see everyone come together; I'll certainly have to thank Freyja and Filbo both!

I'm sure they'd both be thankful if you did. Besides, that is the polite thing to do for your hosts.

Believe it or not, I do try to be polite! They went to all this effort for us, so I'll be sure to thank them both~

[That's a little easier to say, but it is clear that she's joking. At least slightly. But she does seem to be in a better mood, at least.]

Of course! I wouldn't dream of upsetting either of them, and I would absolutely deserve whatever cruel words you would have for me.

Hmph. Good, I'm certainly glad that you acknowledge that much.

[Ugh, why are you like this, Yeager. It's almost amusing, you dumb jerk. Either way, Plumeria goes to take another drink of her drink, before realizing it's gone and starting to leave.]

...I may as well try mingling with the others at the party, now. Do try to enjoy yourself.
