Happy New Year! ... You're still here. Looks like The Captain wasn't lying when he said the murdering is now up to you. That, or you can all live here on your own. Regardless, it's time to settle in. The days start passing much less eventfully after that first one, and, well... on it goes, huh?

There might not be a whole cruise ship to explore just yet, but there are a variety of amenities available to all of you! Who ever heard of a boring cruise ship, anyway? As the week goes on, you might even start to see some of those strange coins appear for you!

Better buckle down and get to know your fellow passengers, though, if you want to stand a chance of weathering this storm.

It's on my profile and everything. The Gundam fight.

[There's a peculiar emphasis she puts on it, somewhere in between matter-of-fact and a simmering anticipation. A fact of life with a little silver lining to it, like you might talk about adding a little razzle-dazzle to your commute or a bit of spice to your sandwich.

Speaking of spice, there's a laugh and she moves lightly, easily in another dodge, spinning in her turn while she's down low to try and sweep Sara's legs out from under her.]

[That's an odd reaction from someone who has that listed under the dislikes in her profile. Sara doesn't have time to think it over, though, as she gets swept and crashes to the floor. She groans and pushes herself to the side, then launches herself up to try to punch at Allenby mid-move.

She has to avoid getting hit. That's natural in her fast, fragile Strain, but if she can do it here is another matter.]

[Sometimes Things Are Complicated when you're a teenager fighting in a giant robot. Maybe that's something a few of them have in common? Who knows.

Allenby laughs coming up from her sweep, evidently pleased with herself, and then has to contend with her opponent suddenly launching herself bodily into a punch. Interesting -- using their momentum against each other.

She can more or less dodge the main impact of the punch, even if it scuffs her, but they're in close enough quarters that there's no room to follow up -- instead she scoots back to open a little distance.]

Not bad, not bad.

[Sara rights herself and jumps back, not going after and instead jus weaving around and watching her.]

And Gundam Fighters normally train like this?

[There's an amused huff, quick and sharp and halfway to a kiai before she darts forward again to let loose a hailstorm of punches -- they're not quite invisible to the naked eye, but a regular person or even a regularly trained person would be hard put to keep up on the dodging.

Them's the breaks of giving her a breather.]

Oh, this is nothing. I'm actually feeling a little more sluggish than usual, but it's been a while since I really went at it on the sea. Better to shake off the rust.

[Than what? There's a myriad of things dancing beneath the feet of her fighting stance, though there's no pause in the flurry of hits.]

[Sara tries to dodge, but doesn't miss all of them; she stumbles back and holds her arm, trying to get out of the way.]

I've heard of keeping in shape to pilot --

[She ducks and quickly punches upward.]
