Happy New Year! ... You're still here. Looks like The Captain wasn't lying when he said the murdering is now up to you. That, or you can all live here on your own. Regardless, it's time to settle in. The days start passing much less eventfully after that first one, and, well... on it goes, huh?

There might not be a whole cruise ship to explore just yet, but there are a variety of amenities available to all of you! Who ever heard of a boring cruise ship, anyway? As the week goes on, you might even start to see some of those strange coins appear for you!

Better buckle down and get to know your fellow passengers, though, if you want to stand a chance of weathering this storm.

[ honestly even she doesn't know why she's mad at this point ]

[Lalli doesn't know why he's annoyed either, so he's going to just.

Reach out and try to grab her bill to hold it shut for a moment.]

[ She's definitely about to AND ANOTHER THING! when Lalli grabs her bill, which he utterly succeeds in, so it's more of a MMMMNNUMMMMIHHHHH, really. Being afraid for her life doesn't even occur to her. How dare he?

Magica fights dirty when she has to resort to physical combat... but also she's a big fan of biting people, and that's off the table right now for obvious reasons. So she's, uh, just kind of peddling her arms and legs like the cartoon character she is, trying to hit him hard enough to loosen his grip, while making furious unintelligible noises. Until she grabs the thing of BBQ sauce she just got off the floor and does her best to squirt it in Lalli's eyes, this is mostly ineffective and objectively hilarious. ]

[Her flailing makes him go from annoyed to panicked, but he still holds onto her beak at first. But then she gets the BBQ sauce and he yelps and lets go to use his arm to shield himself from the BBQ sauce. It doesn't quite work as he intended and he gets sauce all over his face, arm, and shirt. It's lucky that he flinched and closed his eyes too, that would have burned if he had gotten any in his eyes.

But hey, he did let go of her at least? So victory.]

[ Ah, yes, this is the feeling of triumph...

Anyway! Magica hops back once she's released, still brandishing the bottle. She wipes her beak off with the back of her other hand, visibly grossed out. ]

What was that?! Bluh.

[silentscout]

[He makes an irritated noise and flings his arm at Magica, trying to fling some droplets of the BBQ sauce onto her.]

Don't you whip mesquite at me! This is all on you.

[ She sort of instinctively whips her cloak up to block the BBQ rain (some stay dry and others feel the pain), which mostly works? But that just means her outfit has sauce droplets on it. ]
