WEEK 1
Well, you've now met the brains of the operation, as well as the shockingly nice-looking young lady in charge of day-to-day business. Now all that's left is to get used to your accommodations - there's 24 other people in similar shoes to yours to meet in this building, you know! And who knows how much longer you might have them...
The daily routine in the facility quickly becomes obvious - the only way to tell time moment to moment is to check the strange device The Professor gave you, but at the same time every day the lights in and out of the facility go up, and at the same time every night they go down. Otherwise, it's almost maddening sometimes, how little happens in here. At least you have a few rooms with enough to hopefully keep you occupied. Who knows what secrets they might hold? And there's always that vending machine, if you can find something that fits in the coin slot...

MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
FRIDAY | SATURDAY
[ ooc: Welcome to Peace Week! Enjoy it while it lasts. Remember, office hours for The Professor's Assistant are over here if you're interested, while regains can be deposited over here! ]

In the fitness room it appears she's attempting to lift literally everything she can find inside — not just the weights, but the racks they're on and the various machines too. Everything that proves too heavy earns a furious grunt and some manhandling, plus a dirty look at anyone who catches sight of her failure, and everything she still can manage... well, you might might come in to find a giant pyramid of various heavy junk in the middle of the room. Jasper might be spiking a medicine ball at it. She might be trying and failing to drag a rowing machine across the room with her bare hands. This is fine.
The mysterious pile of coins she finds when she returns to her room are confusing to say the least, and when she comes out into the lounge with them sandwiched in one enormous fist she's more confused than annoyed. It's confusing enough that she'll actually flag down the nearest person to growl: ]
What's the meaning of this?
[ Whenever she gets the memo, she heads on over to the vending machine room to redeem her coins — it's at least something new to do in the midst of all this maddening sameness — and roughly feeds them into the machine one by one. And out comes... what. Literally what is any of this. Whether you explained this to her initially or just happen to be here to get some rewards of your own, she'll have the same reaction to pretty much any of the items that come tumbling out, which is either a what is this? or explain this depending on how weird it is. There are only three exceptions. The rock she simply evaluates and then sets down. The uncut diamond earns a glare and an is this some kind of joke? And the sword, which appears last of all, inspires the incredibly scanlationy— ]
That's...!
[ Jasper's eyes go wide with unguarded shock. She lifts it high, examining the scabbard and the hilt before unsheathing the sword proper to test its edge. The way she handles it, compared to how she roughly cast aside literally everything else, is like night and day. It could be mistaken for reverence; the low, ominous chuckle that comes from her when she slides it back into its sheath decidedly cannot. She takes it (and the rock, and inexplicably the parkour book) back to her room with a surprising amount of quiet before returning to grab the other assorted crap.
Finally, you can find her walking the halls at virtually all times of the night and early morning, as if she's doing rounds. Or maybe she's just pacing, in a rough square, for a really, really, really long time. ]
lounge
Oh, those. They go in that machine. Hopefully you get something a little more useful out of it than I did...
[why would she need 4000 hours of internet. they're under the ocean.]
no subject
Oh. That clunky thing. I was wondering what the point of it was.
[ She would absolutely have stuck her hand in there like Therion, off-camera, if it wasn't probably straight-up too big. Her eyes go to the menagerie of trifles next to Alice on the sofa. ]
This is what you got out of it?
no subject
[she holds up the bag of gummy fish.]
...which I guess this one does, too, but also just a lot of weird stuff.
no subject
So you put these circles in and it dispenses junk. [ Well, she's not wrong. But something else occurs to her. ] Did anyone enter my room this morning?

Fitness Room
[Hi, Jasper. Nice way of throwing that medicine ball to the pile. You bored?]
no subject
Tch. [ It's time for the kettlebells!! ] If that's true, you're all even weaker than I thought. Maybe that's what all this is for.
no subject
[Is anyone here strong enough to move even one of those things? She's pretty sure there's nobody. Jasper must be the strongest person here]
But what we don't have in strength, we compensate in...agility! Yes, that's right.
no subject
no, just kidding. She does look moderately unimpressed with this statement, however! ]
Do you? [ Sounds like somebody's bitter she can't do a stupid Sonic speeddash anymore. ] Let's see it.

night
He happens to look up as Jasper makes what seems like the eighteenth lap around the facility. ]
Anything different come up this time?
[ He figured out pretty quick that flirting probably isn't a good idea with her. ]
no subject
No.
[ Thanks for reminding her!! Without another word, she continues stomping on, evidently going for round 19.
... and then like two minutes later she's back so it's a moot point. ]
And you? Did anything happen while you were sitting still?
no subject
[ He snickers, leaning back against the couch. ]
Managed to get a high score on the snake game, though. I think I'm getting the hang of it!

Time is meaningless down here. The artificial cycle of days they're trying to enforce is for your benefit, not mine.
