Happy New Year! ... You're still here. Looks like The Captain wasn't lying when he said the murdering is now up to you. That, or you can all live here on your own. Regardless, it's time to settle in. The days start passing much less eventfully after that first one, and, well... on it goes, huh?

There might not be a whole cruise ship to explore just yet, but there are a variety of amenities available to all of you! Who ever heard of a boring cruise ship, anyway? As the week goes on, you might even start to see some of those strange coins appear for you!

Better buckle down and get to know your fellow passengers, though, if you want to stand a chance of weathering this storm.

I'm sure there are far better ways to arrange blind dates for people. [Her tail swishes back and forth slightly.] Besides, romance novels are usually much less realistic than actual relationships. [Not that she hasn't picked up a few for herself...]

Well, most of the time I've gotten to know other girls in some other way before we end up dating. Instead of being randomly thrown into a new environment. I don't really do speed-dating. [She shrugs.] Though...I'm also single right now, so perhaps take some of my advice with a grain of salt.

Well, the suspension bridge effect is a thing. Being in dangerous situations together can accelerate feelings of attraction...

I don't think that's how it works. I mean, there'd have to be something beforehand, right? Here we're all right into the danger and we didn't even know each other's names!

You never know. In more extreme cases, even just going on a rollercoaster together can trigger that sort of feeling. Adrenaline, attraction, and fear have very similar effects on the heartbeat, after all.
