Well, you've now met the brains of the operation, as well as the shockingly nice-looking young lady in charge of day-to-day business. Now all that's left is to get used to your accommodations - there's 24 other people in similar shoes to yours to meet in this building, you know! And who knows how much longer you might have them...

The daily routine in the facility quickly becomes obvious - the only way to tell time moment to moment is to check the strange device The Professor gave you, but at the same time every day the lights in and out of the facility go up, and at the same time every night they go down. Otherwise, it's almost maddening sometimes, how little happens in here. At least you have a few rooms with enough to hopefully keep you occupied. Who knows what secrets they might hold? And there's always that vending machine, if you can find something that fits in the coin slot...

[Rhea for the most part has seemed pretty calm. Worried but apart from a damning the Professor once or twice hasn't really shown much anger. That is, until she enters the fitness room again. She's wearing the jeans and ugly tie dye shirt for only one reason. She's headed towards the punching bags.

At first, her punches are almost gentle as if she's warming up. It takes her a few minutes to warm up then the fury starts. The punching comes fast and it comes hard. Every once in a while she stops, shakes her fists, then circles the bag only for it to continue.

Not only does it continue but near the end of her routine she's practically growling between breaths. Rhea glares at the punching bag before exiting.

A while later she's in the dining area and is far calmer than she was only a few minutes earlier. In one hand is a mug of tea, though she's not drinking it right away. In fact, she does try once or twice only to stop herself.

She's far more interested in seeing what other people are ordering. Don't mind her and her not-so rapidly cooling tea.

In the late afternoon she will be circling around the north and south hallways. Once in a while she'll stop and look straight up. Not at any fish but just... up. Then she shakes her head and continues on her patrol before starting the cycle over again.]

[ What's up, Rhea? Mira spends quite a while trying to decide what to request, but eventually, she decides on tea with waffles with plenty of fruit and a little syrup. It looks pretty tasty, and she plans on just eating by herself before she actually spots Rhea. ]

Oh--hello.

[She's in the midst of a testing sip--is that a very slight wince?--before hearing Mira.]

Ah, hello, Mira. Do you wish to join me?

Really? [ She clears her throat lightly. ] I mean--yes. Thank you, Rhea.

[ And she'll take a seat next to her... though, she didn't miss that wince. ]

If your tea is too hot, I've found adding a little milk or cream helps cool it. Or... ice cubes, even.

[ For her part, Jasper is in the exact same bodysuit she's been wearing the whole time, and she seems to be... going through the weights? Like, all the weights on the rack. None of them are particularly impressive, even when she manages to hold more than one in one huge hand, and the barbells probably will be more of the same. This human (do they have green hair? you learn something new every day), on the other hand, is becoming more interesting the longer and more viciously she wails on her inanimate partner. By the time Rhea takes a brief pause to circle the punching bag, Jasper's been watching her for a while, and she takes the moment as a cue to speak. ]

It's not gonna punch back.

[She gives one of her fists a shake, getting the faint pain to fade. Rhea doesn't even notice Jasper until she speaks. The growl in her throat becomes a quick 'ahem' as she lifts her head.]

I do realize that, yes.

[hardnosed]

[ She shrugs her shoulders. ]

Seemed like you forgot. [ There's no judgment from her to go with this hypothetical; she's been there before. Actually, she's there currently. Actually, she's never not there. ] ... your form's not bad.

[ This is the nicest thing Jasper's said since showing up here. ]

[Now that Aela's a bit better acquainted with the machines in here, it's time to work out for the entire damn day because that's better than staring at books and she is a jock at heart. But when she enters to find Rhea hard at work, Aela ends up lingering near the doorway, arms folded and watching for a little bit.]

Your technique is impressive.

[The growling's totally fine, who doesn't get a little feral when they're fighting???]

I hadn't realized hand-to-hand is something you're skilled in as well.

[She pauses after a punch. A quick shake of her head and she looks up.]

Ah--well, I am a little out of practice.

[She's a little sheepish at letting herself go quite far.]

You never know when you may be caught without a weapon, after all.

Agreed, though it isn't often I end up in a situation where by bow is far from my side.

[Birkin won't say anything to her at first; this sort of thing is something he's used to seeing, it happens sometimes, but he'll admit the looking up is an interesting part of the holding pattern.]

Hoping to see something in particular out there?

[She glances at him then allows herself a small nod.]

It is ridiculous since we are so deep but I wish to see the sky.

I don't think it's ridiculous. It seems pretty natural, actually.

[He shrugs a bit.]

We don't know how long we'll be here, after all; we're going to start missing stuff like that.

[ With her examination of the facility failing to turn up anything immediately exploitable, Rin has decided that, unfortunately, patience suits her best for now. Which means she has a lot of frustration she needs to get out of her system, and exercise is the best way to do that here! Her attention has been mostly on the cycling machines and small weights, meaning she hasn't had reason to bother Rhea — but she can't help but notice, once she starts to get really into it. ]

Wow. I wouldn't have expected you to be so good at throwing a punch, Archbishop. Guess I'll have to be careful not to blaspheme too much.

[ Not that she knows what counts as blasphemy to the Church of Seiros! This is just what acquaintanceship with Kirei Kotomine does to a person, even when it's an AI double. ]

Hah--!

[There's a roar with one of those punches before she hears Rin. Then she steps back, trying to calm herself. Right. She wasn't alone.]

Blasphemy--blasphemy can be punished in many ways, Miss Tohsaka. That aside, if nothing else this allows me to expend some energy.

[Without punching things that can't be replaced.]

Hey, I'm not knocking it. I'm here too, right? [ Even if her stress relief involves a little less blunt force. ] I was just surprised. Even putting aside the Archbishop thing, you don't look like the type to put your fists to work.

[Nira is just a bit curious at first, but when Rhea starts wailing on the punching bags her expression definitely gets more and more impressed. Once Rhea's done, she lets out an impressed whistle.]

Dang, nice work there!

[She rolls her shoulders, taking time to calm herself before speaking.]

No need to thank me. I'm more of a swordslady myself, but I can definitely admire some good punching skills. And you've definitely got some good technique there.

[As she crosses from one tunnel to the other, she'll come across... this raccoon guy, leaning back against the glass panels and looking up at her.]

I've got to ask... are you tracking a interesting fish?

[That gets her to stop.]

[Nova's wearing the provided suit. Fortunately or unfortunately for everyone, she is not wearing the provided shirt that went with the suit, because that would be almost respectable and Nova has never in her life wanted to look respectable. No, she's just wearing the jacket from the suit, carefully buttoned and adjusted to show as much cleavage as possible.

It's not exactly her usual style, but eh. It'll do.]

Tea too hot?

[She's just passing by while getting something to eat, but you know. There's no point in being rude when they're all stuck here for the foreseeable future.]
